Literally I'm am acting like there's no tomorrow, or at least anouther few weeks in my life. Actually there is a likely chance. We are running out of water! I never thought a day like this would ever come. I can't believe it's happening, but at the same time I know that are water supply is getting smaller and smaller has I type. Back home in Rio, Brazil we took water for granted. The warm weather there was very common, so every house hold would definitely have a full supply of fresh water. Although this trip as been so wonderful; the people I have meet, things I have accomplished, languages I have learned, all on top of being on a whole other planet, we have definatly are close to have taken a bad turn for the worst. l would be heart broken if this mission came to a tragic end. We all have worked so hard to make a living on Mars and we have come a long way from when we first started to even think of going to Mars.
Me and my fellow partner have come up with a way that we might be able to add a percent of the water that we need to our supply. In my committee, Sefu Wellington and I have a pretty genral idea. We were thinking of building some sort of machine that takes the humidity out of the air and then turns it into water. It seems risky, but worth a try. The materials that we need could be very scarce and the amount of time we have is very limited.
I am relying on others and myself on complete success and survival. I hope it turns out well.
